Perhaps I should say it has started already. I joined Weight Watchers 9 days ago and I lost 5 lbs the first week. I know, It is usually pretty easy to lose the first week. I am hoping the second week continues with some momentum. John and I are starting our P90X tomorrow. CRAZINESS! This way out of shape gal is committed to doing the whole thing. Whatever that may be. Granted there will need to do some modifications made I am sure, however, I am going to start and complete each session. No Pain, No Gain, right?
Looking forward to the reward from this commitment. A more energetic Housewife and Mom.
It is never to late to become what you have always wanted to be.
(My version of something George Eliot once said. )
So what is it I have always wanted to be...
A peaceful, organized, fit Wife and Mother seeking after Christ first in all things. Not perfect but heading in a direction that would not be disappointing to me for my children follow.
...moving beyond the clown car act into the discipline and beauty of the acrobats...through God's grace, one wobbly step at a time.

A home.
Contemplating the home we need to be in...this rental until our lease is up or perhaps purchase another home sooner Our landlord wants to sell. A good market for buyers now is exciting. But really I need God to make things clear.
This home will need to house our seven family members and function not only as place of rest But school for our three oldest and office for ministry. After hosting our superbowl party I also want to have the largest family room possible in which to host such events for fellowship. It was so awesome to have so many different kinds of people in our home.... Single college students, couples, married , unmarried, childrenof above and a neighbor's kid, Christian, non-Christian. I have to admit in years past, our home has been mostly for churched people. In youth ministry our home was opened up for home groups for our age, a hangout for students, or to host youth group meetings with 50 or more.
Now my home is being opened up for more fellowship. Honestly some people think we just had them over to watch the super bowl on Sunday. They don't understand that really it was to love on them and to draw them to Christ. A sort of undercover operation, if you will. We feel called to the UCF campus. We need our house to be close enough that it will be easy for students to get to it. I want our home to be located in the neighorhood where God can use us the most, too. I am praying for God's wisdom. Only He can do all these things on our budget. It's pretty exciting. I can't wait to see how He is going to guide us!!
